Struggling to find fast and healthy lunch items?
Lunch should be a nutritious meal, somewhere between 500-750 calories, and include enough nutrients (and low sugar) to prevent the 2:00 slump. For most of us, lunch fuels the afternoon sprint to finish last minute errands, meet a deadline, pick up the kids, and fix dinner - phew!
Here are some of our favorites for lunch:
Under 500 calories: All of our acai bowls are under 500 calories! Gleaming is the best seller - with a blend of acai, strawberry, banana and pineapple in the base and granola, strawberries, coconut and house made almond butter on top. Plus, this comes in a cute little bowl with a spoon - perfect for lunch on the go!
Keep it raw: According to nutritionists, incorporating a few raw meals into your diet each week makes you feel more vibrant and energetic. That energy, is what prevents you from the afternoon crash. Try any of our raw juices (which contain over 2.5 lbs of produce in each bottle). Add one of our beet/lemon energy bites to your juice. It’s delicious, and also raw + vegan + gluten free!
Low carb: With only one piece of bread, our sweet and savory toasts are the perfect lunch. Pair the avocado toast with our Green Goddess Soup (spinach, zucchini, cashew, and lemon) for a filling and nutrient dense lunch that doesn’t leave you crashing.
